Rio Delta Engineering was founded in Rio Grande City, Texas in 2005. Its humble beginnings were that of family business that has now expanded to becoming one of the top engineering firms in the Rio Grande Valley, offering general civil engineering and surveying services in the Rio Grande Valley and South Texas, with offices in Edinburg and Rio Grande City.

While Rio Delta Engineering continues to grow, we maintain the local everyday type of availability and service required by our clients. With the objective of delivering a project that is practical, cost effective, and buildable within the budget and timeframe.

Leadership Team

Gilbert J. Guerra, P.E. – President
Gilbert will provide engineering design and construction supervision and management support from the San Antonio office. He is the secondary contact with the Owner.

Ivan Garcia, P.E., R.P.L.S., C.F.M. – Vice-President
As the lead engineer, Ivan will provide primary project management and engineering design and surveying services coordination and supervision. He would also be primarily responsible for on-site inspections and would be the direct contact with the Owner.
Julio Gonzalez, C.F.M., Graduate Engineer – Vice-President
Julio will provide design and construction supervision and inspection and construction management support from the Rio Grande City office. He will also coordinate survey support for the project.

Community Action
At Rio Delta Engineering, we want to give back to our community, that is why we have volunteered with donations to food banks, career day at local schools and we are also working with The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and South Texas College for an internship program.
